Aluminum silicate (PSAF) is a new type of polymer electrolyte. It is mainly used to purify drinking water, and can also be used for special water quality treatment of water supply, removal of cadmium, fluorine, radioactive pollution and oil slick.
Polyaluminum ferric silicate has the characteristics of high ionic degree, easily soluble in water (completely soluble in water in the whole pH range, and not affected by low water temperature), non gelation and good hydrolysis stability. Due to the high positive charge density on the macromolecular chain, the product has good water solubility and moderate molecular weight, so it has the dual performance of flocculation and disinfection.
Compared with the traditional inorganic flocculants (such as polyaluminum chloride, aluminum sulfate, basic aluminum chloride, etc.), polyaluminium silicate has the advantages of less sludge, faster settling speed, better water quality and lower cost. Moreover, it can also adopt a new process of direct filtration, which is undoubtedly a major reform for the traditional water treatment.
Application of poly aluminum ferric silicate
The solid product is dissolved into liquid by 1:3 water, and then diluted with 10-30 times water to the required concentration. The appropriate pH value is 3.5-5.0, and the optimum pH value can bring the maximum benefit of coagulation into play. The dosage can be determined according to the different turbidity of raw water. Generally, when the turbidity of raw water is 100-500mg / L, the dosage per thousand tons is 10-20kg. When the turbidity of raw water is high, the dosage can be increased appropriately, and when the turbidity is low, the dosage can be appropriately reduced.

First of all, when adding aluminum silicate to dilute the raw water, it is necessary to make a small amount of liquid aluminum. When poly aluminum ferric silicate is used in production, it can be dissolved according to the mass ratio of solid to water = 1:9-1:15. If the concentration of alumina is lower than 1%, it is not easy to use. After dosing, if there is little alum flower and large residual turbidity in the sedimentation tank, the dosage is too small; if the alum flower in the sedimentation tank is large and turned up, the dosage is too large and should be adjusted appropriately. It is generally recommended that the solution concentration of poly aluminum ferric silicate should be 5%.
